The countries that do not have exit to the seaside, inside the continent, like Slovakia and Hungary are still allowed to buy Russian Oil because one country that has sea port can receive other oil ships, but countries that have no port have only one pipe and that pipe is coming from Russia, so Slovakia and Hungary have been still relying on the Russian oil. The Ursula von der Leyens declaration in her first re-election speech about Russian oil was abusive (“We have to be proud of getting rid of the dependency on the <dirty> Russian Fossil Fuel”). This was a talk just for some of the EU members, completely disregarding the ones that are still forced, due to their geographic misfortune to still rely on it.

These days though Ukraine decided to cut off the “Drujba” pipe that allowed Russian Oil to be delivered to Slovakia and Hungary in order to hit Russia without any regard for the two European countries.

Due to this fact, Hungary and Slovakia opened a case at the European Comission to call Ukraine for the inconvenience of cutting off the pipe that allows the Russian oil delivery to their countries and expressed the indignation for the fact that they delivered electricity to Ukraine in compassion and solidarity for the Ukrainian situation, but they will reconsider this decision following the Ukraine’s selfish vengeance that hits much harder rather them than Russia.

Indonesia just announced that intends to buy Russian oil despite the international sanctions.
