That would have been something I would look forward to.
Apparently Tucker Carlson twitted the good news of the hope to interview the longed for 2 years now invitee Mr Zelensky. It was a hope for a moment, then a lost cause as hours after the Tucker Carlson “official” tweet, a Ukrainian official, Sergius Nykyforov, tweeted back some a disappointing message:
“Mr Tucker Carlson should check his FSB sources more carefully. The president of Ukraine ha a completely different schedule, and Tucker Carlson is not there”.
Ukraine proves again and again, the rough around the edges, accusing unwelcoming, assuming not very “diplomatic” diplomacy.
First, this Sergius Nykyforov accuses Tucker Carlson of having tight ties FSB, Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the former KGB and secondly pretends that Tucker Carlson is not worthy of Zelensky’s agenda, or something.
When I come across these kind of statements I really wonder if the Ukraine’s ruling class is not entirely Nazzi oriented. These are not the words of rulers humbled by invasion, but the words of some people that are very aware of the capital of attention they accrued during the conflict they are exposed to and do their best to make the most of it. To be honest, I think that Zelensky could earn more from this kind of interview than Tucker Carlson would.
Never mind.
No more Tucker Carlson – Zelensky interview. Probably Blinken called Ukraine officials and said “No, by any stretch of imagination!” and they play the rooster that they do not need what actually would reassert the legitimacy of an illegitimate not re-elected president in a considerable way.
