The natural gas transmission system of Ukraine is a complex of natural gas transmission pipelines for gas import and transit in Ukraine. It is one of the largest gas transmission systems in the world.[1] The system is linked with natural gas transmission systems of Russia and Belarus on one hand, and with systems of Poland, Romania, Moldova, Hungary and Slovakia on the other hand.[2] The system is owned by Government of Ukraine and operated by Ukrtransgaz.[3] Some local transmission lines together with distribution sets are owned by regional gas companies.
The history of underground gas storage in Ukraine begins in 1964. Back then, the injection of natural gas into the deposits of the first Ukrainian gas storage facility – Olyshivske – began. In 1983, the Bilche-Volytske underground gas storage facility was put into operation, which is still one of the largest in the world.” In 1981, the introduction of a cycling process – for the first time in Europe – began at the Novotroyitske gas condensate field. This advanced technology makes it possible to significantly increase the condensate recovery rate. In 1996, the gas transmission system began to implement in-pipe diagnostics of main gas pipelines using so-called “intelligent” pistons, which allows to ensure high reliability of gas pipelines.
The system of harvesting and distributing the gas coming from Russia and going to Europe was built by the former Soviet Union and continued by Russia having in mind to maintain and continue the distribution of gas from Russia Belarus, Ukraine, to Europe using the pipes they themselves built.
Does it make sense? To use and continue to use the pipes you yourself have buit for this purpose?
The “Foreign Investors” that exploit resources all over the world where ever they can corrupting governments had in mind long time ago to take Russia completely out of the Europe’s picture. Ukraine needs to be “taken under these foreign forces”in their vision and its pipelines are to be used to distribute any gas but not Russian gas, for example Azerbaijan’s gas. Zelensky himself said that he does not want Russia to make money in Ukraine. So these forces that do not care about Ukrainian people but about the Ukrainian land and especially the “foreign investors” that can make a lot of money out of distributing gas using the Russian pipelines want to take over the Ukraine’s independence and severe its ties with Russia, under the banner of democracy and claiming the 1991 territorial integrity and about this story that Ukrainian people would die for getting NATO membership. Russia is selling gas at decent prices while these “Foreign Investors” are multinational companies that do not belong to any state , that do not answer to anyone, that make a lot of money charging a lot more than Russia. So these “foreign investors” have 3 reasons to hate Russia: first because Russia lowers the prices, by selling gas at real price not at inflated one that they do; secondly, because they had Russian resources for few years in their own hands and lost them when Putin threw them out and they try at all costs to regain these Russian resources. 3rd reason these fores hate Russia is because Russia helps and assists many other countries towards self-sufficiency directly in BRICS and indirectly through private armies or granting debt erasing. Mind you African countries throw out these “economic vampires” called “investors” fighting for independence lead by leaders that want what is best for their own people, and Ukraine shed blood to allow these “economic vampires” to have access and to suck the “blood” from all the territories of the 1991 borders, because Ukrainian leaders embroils them it is about democracy and NATO to die for membership.
It is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people and the cruel butchers are Ukrainian corrupt leaders.
Russia asked again and again negotiations.

These forces placed their own corrupted puppet, Zelensky and they fight to enslave this Ukrainian land using the Ukrainian soldiers. The Ukrainian soldiers die for their own country’s enslavement practically. And half of this world knows it and do not condemn Russia and half of this world, the Western World that is ruled and owned by these multinational companies is playing Zelensky’s record that Russia is the aggressor and Zelensky is the one that dies for freedom and democracy.
When Russia saw that there is no way to negotiate, and Ukrainian leaders want to even exterminate the Ukrainian people for the sake of the land they decided that they want to stop as soon as possible the Ukrainian human losses, before any attack they evacuating themselves the civilians, that is why there are very few civilian human losses in the war comparing to the size of the military invasion, and started to destroy this infrastructure that is covitted by the investors to use it for their own plans, because if the infrastructure gets damaged and needs to be rebuilt these “foreign investors” may lose the interest in the winning the war in Ukraina and stop the war themselves.
They lose the pipelines but at least save some Ukrainian soldiers lives. Russia is not fighting Ukrainians, they do care about Ukrainian citizens. They fight the global elites.
Russia decided to just destroy the land in the most meaningful pipelines points and to end the war with the least casualties, while the Ukrainian corrupted leaders that report to “Foreign Investors” want to keep the country at war as much as they can and do not care for how many lives they destroy in the battle.
And these foreign investors knew it and the Ukrainian leaders knew this would be the outcome.
It is like pushing someone off the cliff and evading the responsibility, while holding the gravity accountable.
I am afraid that the responsible one is not the gravity but the one that pushed that someone off the cliff.
