Mr Kier Starmer invited Mr Zelensky to address in his new cabinet. It is the first time a foreign leader addresses in the UK cabinet. Mr Zelensky was more than warmly welcome to visit the cabinet and speak for a few minutes. The UK cabinet reassured Mr Zelensky of their full support and initiated a 100 years bilateral collaboration plan between UK and Ukraine.

Although I firmly do believe that it is not fair to fight until the last Ukrainian for getting “back” land where people speak Russian, not Ukrainian, where people identify themselves as Russians that by the way are hated by Ukrainians and by the EU, and do not consider themselves as of Ukrainian nationality, lands that are historically Russian, not Ukrainian, I still appreciate the beautiful gesture Mr Starmer makes to support Mr Zelensky. I take it that Mr Zelensky did not hear about India, Vietnam, Austria, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and many other countries that benefit immensely from being courted by West and BRICS in the same time and by making the most of both support and interest, while the countries that chose EU are getting broke and lose independence. Probably Mr Zelensky does not know what would be the consequences of his choices, so I understand. I wish to remind my readers that Russia did not intend to invade Ukraine while Ukraine was neutral. Ukrainian people increased their EU and NATO aspirations while Russian population disagreed. After 8 years of disagreements between the Russians from inside Ukrainian borders and the Ukrainian leadership, Russia stepped in to take control of the historical Russian land and defend Russian population living inside 1991 Ukraine border. Russia did not invade Ukraine but allied with territories that declared independent from Kiev regime. The “Russian invasion” are words that justify some countries support for Ukraine, countries that have long standing reason to defy and defeat Russia.

Mr Zelensky had a few encouraging and reassuring words from King Charles III himself personally in a short dialog during the European Political Community summit as well.

A the end of the day, here in UK a beautiful first, never seen before event in the cabinet, a page of history, a friend in need, helped indeed, especially morally by the UK PM, Mr. Starmer, sharing a great example of solidarity and compassion. Yet UK will not support Ukraine to hit targets inside Russia, as per now. So my guess proves right again: UK splurges Ukrainian questionable president, Zelensky with attention only to refuse what Zelensky wanted most: the green light to hit Russia using UK military aid.
